Here is Molly in her pretty spring dress. She is getting fat. Molly looks almost exactly how Maggie looked at this age. You would not be able to tell the difference if you looked at both of them in baby pictures. It’s pretty amazing.

Here’s what I got to do while June was in heavenly bliss:

And just for the record, when June states that I had run out of milk, it was milk that she had previously pumped that I ran out of.
Last night Damon told me that I needed to pump some milk for Molly because I had somewhere to go in the morning. Well, this is where I got to go today. Dawn went with me which made it even more fun.

It was a old historical home made into a day spa. We went at 9:30 this morning and weren’t done until about 3:00pm. We both got a one hour massage, a one hour facial, a hair cut and style, a catered lunch from a steak place, and a manicure. We ate the lunch out on the wrap around porch in front of the home. Everything was awesome and we had lot of fun and laughs. I felt so good and relaxed when we got done. We ended up skipping our manicures because Damon had run out of milk and it was taking longer than we thought it would.
What a sweet guy I married! It was a perfect gift for me after having a baby. I absolutely loved it.
Molly is starting to smile and coo. Of course, she does it only when she feels it is appropriate. She had just been smiling at me, so June ran and got the camera. As soon as June turned on the camera Molly decided to go stoic. You now begin to realize that I call my children stinker-bugs for good reason. So, as is obvious in the pic, I tried breathing as hard as I could on Molly to induce a smile on her face. Equally obvious is the fact that I was unsuccessful. Perhaps her delicate nostrils were offended by the odor of grilled cow. That would make sense, as the only smell that truly brings her joy is that of mammary gland sweat.
I swear that she has gained at least a pound since we’ve been here in Alabama. Her cheeks continue to grow, and she is starting to get “rolls” on her arms and legs. Pretty soon she’ll be a Stay Puft Marshmallow Molly.

This pic is going back in time 1 week. I was browsing through my pics while June and Dawn juggled babies, and I came across this one. It kind of made me homesick. It also made me miss my babies. I have little Molly in my lap right now, as June only wanted to juggle a preemie (they’re lighter, and don’t make as big a dent in the floor if you drop them), so I’m not entirely alone, but I do miss the rest of the little buggers.

We are having a nice vacation here in Alabama with Trav and Dawn, but it is so QUIET! Half of my kids are in their Terrible Twos, so the decibel level in our house reaches record highs on a weekly basis. Apparently I have taken for granted activities such as sleeping through the night, sitting in one spot for more than a few minutes, and not having to answer 7.5 billion questions per day. Vacation indeed! But God bless my babies…I still miss them!
