Fall Fun

Eli is so excited for the leaves to fall off of the tree. He thinks that as soon as the leaves fall off of the trees it will start to snow.

Today the three boys decided to help hurry the natural process along by pulling the leaves from the trees. They spent most of the morning up in the tree pulling leaves, standing beside the tree banging on the branches with the rakes, and finally raking the few leaves on the ground. It was fun to watch. Our poor little baby trees.

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

We had a fall festival at our church on Sunday night. The kids always love the horse and buggy rides and the hay rides.fallfestival20071.jpg

A New Post

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

Well, It’s time for another less depressing post. Let’s talk about Molly. That’s a happy thing to talk about.

Molly is 19 months now. Her talking is getting cuter every day. She loves to say things that include the words Beep Bop Boop. Those words find there way into most of her sentences. Sometimes it is “Beep Boop Boop” like when she is telling me she is poopy. Or there is just “Boop” which is her word for book. She uses the word “out” all the time. She always wants to go “Outside” and she also says it for anything that she wants to get out of something which is pretty much everything. She says mommy and daddy all the time. “Daddy, outside!” “Mommy, Boop”

She calls Maggie. Micah, and Evan “DeeDee” or something like that. She calls Eli “E..I.. and she calls herself “baby”. I showed her a picture of Maggie, Micah and Evan the other day and she said “DeeDee, DeeDee, and DeeDee”.

She loves to be read to. She loves to eat. She loves to have her diaper changed and loves to get dressed. She loves to rock-a-bye. When she is tired she loves her bed. She loves her puppy dog stuffed animal. She loves to be outside. She loves to go on walks.

The way she bounces around when she walks with her big fluffy hairdo is just adorable to me.

A Sad Time

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

Thankfully, there are many more happy times than sad times in our lives. This week has been one of those sad times, though.

I should be 12 weeks pregnant this Saturday. Last Thursday we went in for a sonogram to find out that the baby no longer has a heartbeat. We are trying to wait it out and miscarry naturally. Please pray for us during this time. We are very anxious to get through this and have it behind us.

So Sweet
