We were gone for the snow storm of the year. It was perfect because by the time we got home the roads were clear but the kids still had all the snow to play in. I got to spend one whole day getting them dressed and then undressed again. I love that!

Our plan was to have our family Christmas on the evening of the 23rd. Our yearly tradition is to go out to dinner, drive around and look at Christmas lights, and then go home and open presents. As I was watching the weather that day I was getting really nervous with the blizzard warning. So, that afternoon I called Damon at work and asked him to please try to get the 24th off so we could beat the storm. I packed the bags, wrapped the gifts, and cleaned the house in about 2 hours.
When Damon got home we quickly opened our stockings and gifts and then jumped on the road to head to Hutch and beat the storm. It was 53 degrees out and thunderstorming when we left. By the time we got to Hutch the temp had dropped 20 degrees. By noon the next day Gardner was hit with sleet, ice, and snow. I am glad we missed it.
All of my brothers and sisters made it to Hutch this year so we had quite the crowd. It was too many people to even get pictures of it all, but I did what I could. I never did get all my kids in one place at the same time for a picture this year.

I found Damon the perfect Christmas present this year.
And some snapshots from Christmas day.

The weekend before Christmas we celebrated with Gramma Jeri, Grampa Kurt, Jeremy, Brandi, and Hemi.

Someone paid attention to our blog and found Molly just what she has wanted for a long time. From the time her daddy blew it up for her she hops everywhere she goes. She couldn’t be any happier!

Finally, the 2nd hanging front tooth comes out.
